UpdatedDomestic Opening: $34.4 million, Projected Total $100-$125 million.Overseas: With a $18.1 million opening from 63 markets, it might be able to match the $211 million of the original.Worldwide: $300-$325 millionIt will fall well short of The LEGO Movie and LEGO Batman on the domestic front.

Star Wars: Episode IX

Last post on 02/03/19 at 02:12 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $142 Million
Domestic: $397 Million
Overseas: $673 Million
Worldwide: $1,070 Billion

My Say: It is very hard to predict this film’s performance because of how much fans hated The Last Jedi and are still mad about the film, and how badly Solo bombed at the box office. But it should do decent numbers I guess.

Frozen 2

Last post on 02/03/19 at 02:06 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $123 Million
Domestic: $367 Million
Overseas: $974 Million
Worldwide: $1,341 Billion

My Say: It's freaking Frozen, It’s gonna be a monster hit, It will probably not make as much as the first one Domestically because the “Frozen Fever” has died down, But Frozen is still Disney’s most popular franchise and will undoubtedly have a massive debut and internationally there is the chance it passes $1 Billion overseas.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Last post on 02/03/19 at 01:59 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $27 Million
Domestic: $72 Million
Overseas: $226 Million
Worldwide: $298 Million

My Say: Its gonna bomb, I don’t hate Sonic, But it will bomb because of overwhelmingly negative reactions to the first couple of posters, Sonic’s been a laughingstock since Sonic 06, If Detective Pikachu massively overperforms and sets a new standard for video game adaptations, Sonic’s in big trouble.

It: Chapter Two

Last post on 02/03/19 at 01:50 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $150 Million
Domestic: $362 Million
Overseas: $467 Million
Worldwide: $829 Million

My Say: 2017’s IT was a massive hit and created tons of hype for the 2nd and final film.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw

Last post on 02/03/19 at 01:44 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $84 Million
Domestic: $209 Million
Overseas: $823 Million
Worldwide: $1,032 Billion

My Say: Since it’s a spinoff, it will likley make less than Fate internationally, But considering it’s associated with Fast And The Furious, it will still be a behemoth internationally.

Toy Story 4

Last post on 01/30/19 at 11:06 PM CT by Hurricane2000

UPDATE: The new look for Bo Peep has been getting some possible backlash by the “Usual suspects”
So I might have to lower my domestic Prediction a bit. It will perform terrifically overseas nonetheless.

John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum

Last post on 01/30/19 at 11:04 PM CT by Hurricane2000

It’s John Wick
It’s likley gonna be good

The Lion King (2019)

Last post on 01/27/19 at 10:33 AM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $200 Million
Domestic: $612 Million
Overseas: $1,115 Billion
Worldwide: $1,727 Billion

My Say: 1994’s The Lion King is Disney’s most famous film, Though a Remake wasn’t quite necessary, This film will be massive because of my first point, as well as a very good cast.

Spider-Man: Far From Home

Last post on 01/27/19 at 10:22 AM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $123 Million
Domestic: $332 Million
Overseas: $597 Million
Worldwide: $929 Million

My Say: Its The MCU, It’s early July, And it has great buzz from the trailer.

Men in Black International

Last post on 01/26/19 at 09:46 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $60 Million
Domestic: $191
Overseas: $371 Million
Worldwide: $562 Million

My Say: This will be a success because of the cast, and Sony having great financial success with Jumanji and Venom.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Last post on 01/26/19 at 09:40 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $47 Million
Domestic: $112 Million
Overseas: $303 Million
Worldwide: $415 Million

My Say: Considering X-Men: Apocalypse got mixed reviews from critics and only okay responses from audiences and performing under expectations at the Box Office plus the bad buzz around Dark Phoenix, Things are looking pretty grim for Dark Phoenix.

The Secret Life of Pets 2

Last post on 01/26/19 at 09:36 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $100 Million
Domestic: $316 Million
Overseas: $600 Million
Worldwide: $916 Million

My Say: The first film was a major box office success ($368 Million Domestically, $875 WW) and received decent reviews (Certified Fresh At 73% on RT) Though audiences only thought it was okay. Despite that, I still think the sequel will be a major win for Universal considering kids liked the first one and once again that clever premise of its predecessor and the sequel. …

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Last post on 01/26/19 at 09:30 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $88 Million
Domestic: $223 Million
Overseas: $485 Million
Worldwide: $708 Million

My Say: Godzilla (2014) had a very surprising strong opening weekend ($93 Million), But do To audiences saying it was only okay and the widely acclaimed X-Men: Days Of Future Past out the next weekend, Godzilla suffered a very bad 2nd weekend drop and only ended up with $200 Million domestically. But as for King Of Monsters, I see it having slightly longer legs than it’s …

Aladdin (2019)

Last post on 01/26/19 at 04:03 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $115 Million
Domestic: $327 Million
Overseas: $609 Million
Worldwide: $936 Million

My Say: It’s based on Disney’s 1992 Classic, I think I’ve said enough, Okay but anyways I think Aladdin will open around Alice In Wonderland ($116 Million). But it will probably fail to reach $1 Billion because Godzilla is out the next weekend and the 2nd Pets will probably impact Aladdin Considering both are family films. But a likley $800 Million Worldwide+ is …

Pokémon Detective Pikachu

Last post on 01/26/19 at 03:42 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $100 Million
Domestic: $273 Million
Overseas: $618 Million
Worldwide: $891 Million

My Say: Honestly, I think this could be a pleasant surprise because the trailer has been mostly warmly received, The film will likley be a monster hit in Japan considering Pikachu And Pokémon are absolutely massive there. Plus Aquaman was a very pleasant Box Office surprise so never doubt anything.

Shazam!

Last post on 01/26/19 at 03:30 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $67 Million
Domestic: $180 Million
Overseas: $322 Million
Worldwide: $502 Million

My Say: Considering Aquaman has been a massive box office success (Over $1 Billion Worldwide), Shazam! good surprise us, BUT, It will definitely not gross as much as Aquaman Because Shazam isn’t the most famous DC character, Plus Endgame comes out a few weeks later. But I think Shazam will surprise in a smaller way with it Grossing at the highest around $500 Million …

Dumbo (2019)

Last post on 01/26/19 at 03:18 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $75 Million
Domestic: $216 Million
Overseas: $457 Million
Worldwide: $673 Million

My Say: Dumbo will not be a monster hit like Alice In Wonderland, Jungle Book, or Beauty And The Beast because the original Dumbo while well known isn’t Beauty And The Beast (1991) levels of famous. But if it grosses anywhere 500 Million Worldwide+, Disney should be quite happy

Captain Marvel

Last post on 01/26/19 at 03:13 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $154 Million
Domestic: $445 Million
Overseas: $573 Million
Worldwide: $1,018 Billion

My Say: Female led films have proven to be monster hits at the box office (Wonder Woman, Beauty And The Beast, etc), Plus last year, another MCU film Black Panther was a Titanic/Avatar type phenomenon domestically with its critical acclaim and diverse cast. Captain Marvel will benefit from this though it probably won’t make as much as Black Panther.

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

Last post on 01/26/19 at 03:08 PM CT by Hurricane2000

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $51 Million
Domestic: $173 Million
Overseas: $388 Million
Worldwide: $561 Million

My Say: It won’t gross as much as the first two, But it will still be a decent financial win for Dreamworks and Universal.

Suicide Squad (2016)

Last post on 01/26/19 at 02:58 PM CT by Hurricane2000

I thought it was okay, But compared to the terrific trailers, This was disappointing

Avengers: Infinity War

Last post on 01/26/19 at 02:56 PM CT by Hurricane2000

Absolute masterpiece (Though not as good as Nolan’s Batman trilogy)

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Last post on 01/26/19 at 02:56 PM CT by Hurricane2000

I really enjoyed this film

That is pretty much the same information I found - the only option may be to contact Zipporah (info@zipporah.com) and see if they offer any kind of screener options or if they can update on a potential streaming/DVD release.
