Bird Box

Bird Box is silly as hell -- but if you just go with it, you'll find yourself totally wrapped up in it. It's a fine, solid thriller with appropriately tense moments and one or two downright terrifying moments, done well and with confidence by director Susanne Bier.

Simply. This is a must-see.

You never, ever take off your blindfold.
If you look, you will die.
Do you understand?

Each year ends with a bang. Youíll have the end-of-year festivities and people party themselves into the new year. But when itís about movies, this one created an end-of-a-filmyear-bang. Frankly, I didnít expect too much of it. But maybe my prejudice about Sandra Bullock has something to do with that. I readily admit that Iím not really a fan of this actress. Is it her way of talking? Or her facial …

Aquaman

A Tsunami sized blockbuster that delivers!

AQUAMAN is one of the strangest superhero movies ever made and it is also one hell of a crowd pleasing popcorn flick. It sucessfully combines action, adventure, fantasy, romance, and even horror in spectacular fashion!

Director James Wan (The Conjuring; Furious 7) handles the gargantuan scale with gusto, unafraid to embrace the absolute absurdity that comes with a superhero that can talk to fish. Atlantis is a glistening metropolis of aquatic creatures, skyscrapers made of lava and coral, …

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Spider-Verse Opens the Door to Limitless Options

I admit when I first heard about an animated Spider-Man movie coming out towards the end of 2018, I was all - eh, it's not part of the MCU, don't see how this is going to be relevant to anything outside the hardcore spider-fans. Then that trailer dropped and I was immediately hooked - it was truly like a comic book sprung to life. More followed and then the reactions started rolling in and I knew I had to see this.

I am happy to say that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse not only met the …

Once Upon a Deadpool

Cleaned Up but Still the Same Old Deadpool

Some may say all this PG-13 version of Deadpool 2 is a cash-grab, it's a farce, it's a sly wink at Disney or simply Ryan Reynolds wanting to have some fun. It's all of that and none of it because Once Upon a Deadpool is actually a lot of fun and despite the lack of blood and f-bombs, it's not all that different from Deadpool 2 - just with 100% more Fred Savage.

The whole Savage things comes about when Deadpool kidnaps the actor and tapes him down in a recreation of the Princess Bride …

Okay so I got a free screeing for this movie and I still left after 40 minutes the movie was beautiful no doubt but oh my God it was so slow moving it was torture and it didn't seem to be going along anywhere soon so I just gave up maybe I gave up too soon but I just didn't really see the need to stay and get tortured even longer.

Aquaman - Review

"Permission to come aboard"

Permission granted.

While not best superhero movies of all time, but for DC shake, it's the best movie behind 'Wonder Women'.

Jason Momoa and Amber Heard are both enjoyable and bring a dynamic chemistry into their characters. They honestly carry this movie.

James Wan direction is the strongest part of the movie. The action scenes is thrilling and exciting with the camera sweeping across the actions scenes - never missing a punch, kick, and blast. Wan …

I Love You, Daddy

I Love You, Daddy - Review

'I Love You, Daddy' is a beautifully made movie with bad timing. The biggest punchline to any joke is backfiring.

The film itself feels rushed. The messy edit jumps and you can tell it was made to reach it's premiere dates at film festivals.

Disappointed isn't the correct word that comes to head with Louis C.K. Betrayed is more fitting.

However, C.K has a least an interesting style of directing. This and his TV show 'Louie' have the same directing techniques. Not great, but has an eye …
